Is it a good idea to put cosmetics/skin care in the fridge over summer due to the hot weather?

I would think Yes but it depend on the type of product .. Yes to Lipstick , Chapstick , Creams , Eyeliner etc .. No to Mascara , Lipgloss , certain foundations !! You get the idea :)

I'm living in a tropical country now so I put all my skincare and for cosmetics, only liquid cosmetics like foundation and lipsticks, in the fridge to preserve the freshness. I read it somewhere in magazines that this will help to preserve freshness and durability. But I don't put other cosmetics as I don't think it helps.Is it a good idea to put cosmetics/skin care in the fridge over summer due to the hot weather?
You should actually keep most of those products in the fridge all year long. It keeps them fresh and protects the active ingredients from breaking down. Just make sure you read the label for certain products to keep at room temperature, and make sure you don't make the fridge too cold.
for some things it is, for example if you use an eye cream or gel, if it is kept in the fridge it takes down the puffiness of your eyebags a bit more. but with other things, like face creams and makeup, just keep them in a cool, dry place.
Some of it. An creams or liquid things you should. They also say that if you put eyeliner in the fridge it will go on smoother :D Don't put mascara in the fridge though because it clumps it up :(
