cuz she wants makeup that is good quality and she doesnt want it to look thick or she doesnt want it to not cover up well enough

It's important to me to have good healthy, clean and clear skin because it boosts self esteem booster. Higher quality makeup and products for your face often work better than the cheaper stuff (at least from my experience). Hope this answers your question.
